What we say
A friendly neighborhood bar in the heart of the Castro
Moby Dick has grown in popularity over the past few years and you can count on a packed bar on most nights and Sunday evening. They play popular music and videos on their small TVs, but the focus here is on the crowd, the bar and the pool table in the back.

Love the layout, the ambiance, the music, the pooltable, the bartenders, and the crowd! Nice place to hang out with friends or to make new ones. Submitted via GayCities iPhone application

Do you know anyone who looks good in blue or green lighting?
I don't.
And the aquarium fish look so unhappy....

Always busy and Always friendly. Great bartenders and staff! Everyone wants to talk! Isn't that what going to a bar is about?
Can't wait to return.

I know lots of guys who adore this place, but it has never clicked for me. Something about the layout and the location. Maybe it's built over an ancient Indian burial ground.
Drinks are decent and the bartenders are efficient. Now if someone would actually talk to me I might have a good time.
