What we say
A friendly neighborhood bar in the heart of the Castro
Moby Dick has grown in popularity over the past few years and you can count on a packed bar on most nights and Sunday evening. They play popular music and videos on their small TVs, but the focus here is on the crowd, the bar and the pool table in the back.

Great spot. But don't tell too many people or it'll get too crowded. Clean, well run place.
Moby Dick for me is a place where i go with my friends if i'm not in the mood for dancing.
The music is cool but the thing i like the most is that you can play some pool and have a good laugh.
Moby's must be the staple of the Castro. Had an easy feel to it where you could come in all dressed up or dressed down and fit right in! The drinks were cheap, but not so many friendly folks here. It's like a neighborhood bar, and if you're not part of the neighborhood people sit back and stare. Good eye candy here of all ages!
moby dick's is my favorite bar in SF. But it's small so going there on major holidays can be a bitch to move around. I like when there is hardly a crowd and you can be seen and watch the guys play pinball machines. i love the fish tank and the bartenders are friendly.
Moby Dick is quickly becoming the bar to be seen at. The weekends are packed with a great mix of guys from their 20's to 40's. It's a great place to cruise and have fun at the same time. I have probably meet more guys at Moby's than any other bar. The aquarium behind the bar is amazing..go just to see that.
