What we say
Small Space; Big crowds
Q Bar has taken over the popular space vacated by Bar On Castro, which relocated to Church Street. The small but pulsating bar in the heart of the Castro will be renovated by day but stay open nights. Many of the special event nights, such as Jaunita More's Booty Call Wednesdays and Tuesday's women's nights remain.

I am vacationing from L.A. and spent Monday-Wednesday in Castro. This club/bar was not energetic, more of a social gathering to smokers and drinkers as opposed to a dance club, and just not very appealing to someone who have been to L.A.'s clubs/bars. It would have been OK if most of the people are dancing instead of smoking on the front patio.

Hit up QBar a few times during my trip to SF. Overall, its a great place to have a few drinks, dance your ass off to some current hits, and meet a few nice hott guys. Besides the wait to get in....nothing really bad to say about it. Check it out.

although is small and packed, it is a very nice bar to chill and dance your booty off. This is a must to go when you visit san fran. Its a very cute place and if you want the best drink of your life, then ask richard the bartender to make it for you.

Was there for Booty Call Wednesdays and must say the music, crowd, and general slickness of the place is above either BOC (which used to be on this spot) or the rest of Castro's bars/clubs. As of now, only the LookOut is as cool as this place (we'll have to wait for the new Jet and Cafe to see what happens...)
So, what do you say?
