This is typical diner/comfort food, good but not up to the level of sf cuisine generally. but it doesn't matter. come here for the location, just blocks away from great castro bars such as blackbird, and the crowd which is extremely diverse and very gay. the highlight of the menu? strong cocktails, and the dessert: fresh pies backed daily.
Best Cobb Salad EVER
So delicious. Make sure to get feta instead of blue cheese on the Cobb salad. The Tarragon Dressing is the closest thing to heaven on earth. Not to pricey, always a seat available. Great comfort food with eclectic offerings. Also give the Thai and Happy noodles a go.

Try to sit on the patio and as far as the other menu items, I couldn't say because I always get the Cobb. Visit Ardvark books next door to pet the kitty, he's usually sleeping in a box of books.
The regular burger is good, but the lamb burger is great.
